A Romantic Fall Ohio Wedding | Grace & Cole
Grace and Cole’s romantic fall Ohio wedding was filled with meaningful moments, elegant design, and a seamless, joy-filled celebration from beginning to end.
Grace and Cole’s fall Ohio wedding was a beautiful reflection of everything a fall celebration should be—warm, intentional, and filled with genuine connection. It took place at Valley of the Eagles Golf Club wedding in Elyria, Ohio and was surrounded by the rich colors of October and the peaceful landscape of the course, their day unfolded with a sense of ease and meaning from beginning to end.
As their wedding coordinator, it was such a joy to bring their vision to life in a way that felt both seamless and deeply personal.
A Love Story That Started with One Bold Move
Grace and Cole first met in June 2020 through mutual friends, in the kind of way that almost feels meant to be. A friend suggested Cole reach out to Grace—but when she didn’t hear from him, she took the initiative and made the first move herself.
At the time, she wasn’t necessarily looking for anything serious, but from that very first step, she had a feeling he would become someone important in her life. Looking back, it’s clear how pivotal that moment was.
What started as a simple introduction turned into something lasting—and ultimately led them here, celebrating not just their wedding day, but the beginning of their family.
A Surprise Proposal in Hocking Hills
Cole planned a proposal that was both thoughtful and completely unexpected. Under the guise of celebrating Grace’s birthday, he surprised her with a weekend getaway to a cabin in Hocking Hills.
After a quiet first night, they set out early the next morning for a hike to a nearby waterfall. In true fashion, they initially missed the short path and ended up walking nearly two miles in the summer heat before realizing how close it actually was.
By the time they made it to the waterfall, they were exhausted—but it quickly became the perfect setting. As Grace turned around from taking photos, she was met with Cole down on one knee, with a nearby couple secretly capturing the moment.
Completely caught off guard, her initial reaction was pure shock and excitement—quickly followed by an enthusiastic “yes.” It was the kind of proposal that felt effortless, meaningful, and entirely true to them.
A Crisp October Wedding Morning
The morning of their Valley of the Eagles Golf Club wedding began with a calm, joyful energy. Grace spent the morning surrounded by her bridesmaids, Cole’s mom, and both her mom and stepmom—such a meaningful group of women to have by her side as the day began.
They enjoyed a relaxed morning together with brunch and mimosas, getting ready in matching pajamas, listening to music, and soaking in every moment. It was light, celebratory, and full of anticipation—while still holding space for the quieter, emotional moments.
One of the most heartfelt parts of the morning was Grace’s first look with her dad. Seeing her in her wedding gown for the first time, his reaction was incredibly emotional and unforgettable.
Meanwhile, Cole spent the morning with his groomsmen enjoying time on a golf simulator—laughing, relaxing, and easing into the day ahead. It was the perfect balance, allowing both of them to start the day feeling present and grounded.
A Private First Look Full of Emotion
Before the ceremony, Grace and Cole shared a private first look on the venue’s front steps, framed by the iconic red door. It was an intimate and emotional moment—just the two of them—allowing them to slow down and truly take in the significance of the day.
They also exchanged personal, private vows during this time, creating a quiet space to connect before the celebration began. These moments often become some of the most meaningful, and theirs was no exception.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Autumn Beauty
As guests arrived, they were greeted with crisp fall air and the anticipation of what was to come. The ceremony took place outdoors at the Valley of the Eagles Golf Club, a setting filled with sweeping views and vibrant autumn color.
The ceremony felt heartfelt and deeply personal — centered entirely on their commitment to one another.
Adding to the significance of the moment, Grace’s uncle officiated the ceremony, bringing a level of warmth and familiarity that made it even more meaningful. Her aunt, who is also her godmother, shared a reading, creating a beautiful and emotional moment that reflected the love and support surrounding them.
Following “I do,” guests celebrated by blowing bubbles as Grace and Cole made their way back down the aisle —a joyful and lighthearted ending to such a meaningful ceremony.
A Thoughtfully Curated, Elevated Fall Design
Grace and Cole’s design perfectly captured the essence of fall while still feeling refined and timeless. Their color palette of emerald green, white, and soft cream created a rich, sophisticated foundation that complemented the natural beauty of the season.
The florals leaned into a romantic, slightly whimsical style — featuring roses and lilies throughout, with Grace carrying a stunning cascading bouquet that felt both elegant and organic.
Reception tables were styled with layered, intentional details. Bud vases filled with mixed florals were paired with candles and thoughtfully placed books, creating a moody and sophisticated atmosphere that felt warm and inviting.
Every element worked together seamlessly — elevated, cohesive, and never overdone.
Thoughtful Details That Made the Day Their Own
Grace and Cole infused their wedding with personal details that made the entire experience feel uniquely theirs.
Guests signed a photo guest book filled with their engagement photos, creating a keepsake they’ll be able to revisit for years to come. They also included advice and well wishes cards, allowing loved ones to share meaningful words.
A memory table thoughtfully honored family members who have passed, serving as a quiet and intentional way to include them in the day. Personalized coozies added a fun and practical touch for guests to enjoy and take home.
Each detail felt purposeful—simple, meaningful, and reflective of who they are.
Emotional Moments & A Joy-Filled Dance Floor
As the evening unfolded, the celebration naturally shifted into some of the most emotional and joy-filled moments of the day.
Grace and Cole each shared heartfelt dances with their parents, creating moments that were deeply meaningful for everyone in the room.
One of the most touching moments of the evening came when Grace surprised her mom with a speech, expressing her love and gratitude in such a genuine and heartfelt way. She also dedicated her wedding bouquet to her, turning it into a moment that was both unexpected and incredibly meaningful.
As the reception officially began, Grace and Cole made a grand entrance that perfectly reflected their personalities—walking in with oversized “fat heads” of their cat and dog. It immediately set a fun, celebratory tone for the night.
From there, the dance floor quickly became the heart of the celebration. With a packed floor all night long, fun props like sparkle pom poms and sunglasses, and Grace and Cole dancing alongside their guests the entire evening, the energy never slowed down.
Guests also enjoyed a delicious dessert table filled with a variety of treats — from cookies to cupcakes and more — adding another interactive and memorable element to the night.
The Most Meaningful Moment
While their ceremony was unforgettable, one of the moments that stood out most to Grace and Cole came after the celebration.
They took time together to pause, reflect, and fully absorb the day—feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the love and support surrounding them. It was a quiet, grounding moment that allowed them to truly take in everything they had just experienced.
Bringing It All Together
As their wedding coordinator, my role throughout the day was to ensure every detail came together seamlessly—from managing vendors and guiding the timeline to overseeing each transition behind the scenes.
Grace and Cole, and their families, were able to stay fully present, knowing everything was taken care of. Watching their vision come to life in such a meaningful and effortless way is always what makes days like this so special.
The entire day was made even more seamless and enjoyable thanks to an incredible team of vendors who truly brought their vision to life. From the very beginning, every vendor approached the day with professionalism, creativity, and such a collaborative spirit. Valley of the Eagles Golf Club provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration, while Simply Whitney & Co. captured each moment so beautifully and intentionally. The floral designs by Botamer Florist and Verdant Floral Designs added a romantic, elevated touch that tied everything together effortlessly. John Meyers with Event DJs kept the energy high all evening and created such a fun, engaging atmosphere on the dance floor. Guests also loved the delicious desserts from Sugar Shananigans, and Beauty by Payton Keller ensured everyone looked and felt their best for the big day. It’s always such a joy to work alongside a team that is not only talented, but truly invested in creating an exceptional experience for the couple.
Their Valley of the Eagles Golf Club wedding was a perfect reminder that when thoughtful planning, a strong vendor team, and genuine connection come together, the result is something truly unforgettable.

A Timeless Tudor House at Mason's Cove Wedding | Morgan & Toren
Morgan and Toren’s Tudor House at Mason's Cove wedding was a beautiful blend of luxury, intentional design, and timeless summer elegance. Set along the water at Portage Lakes, their day was filled with meaningful details, garden-inspired design, and unforgettable moments with family and friends.
Morgan and Toren’s Tudor House at Mason's Cove wedding in New Franklin, Ohio was the perfect blend of luxury, timeless design, and garden style elegance. Set along the peaceful shoreline of the Portage Lakes, their celebration was thoughtfully planned from beginning to end—filled with meaningful moments, beautiful details, and a relaxing summer atmosphere that reflected who they are as a couple.
From the moment the day began until their final private boat ride at the end of the evening, this wedding was truly unforgettable. As their wedding coordinator, I truly enjoyed working with Morgan and Toren to help bring their vision to life. They were a joy to spend time with and be around and their love for each other was abundantly apparent.
A Love Story That Was Meant to Be
Like many modern couples, Morgan and Toren technically met on Bumble — but their connection ran deeper than a dating app. During their first date, they quickly realized they shared numerous mutual friends from their time at Kent State University. Looking back, they’re convinced their paths must have crossed long before that first date.
Their engagement story was just as magical. Toren proposed beneath the grand Christmas tree inside Cleveland’s historic Arcade — one of Morgan’s favorite places during the holidays. What made it even more special was that Morgan had always secretly imagined getting engaged there, though she had never told Toren. With the help of her best friend Carly, Toren orchestrated a surprise proposal that left Morgan completely shocked and overwhelmed with joy.
After the proposal, Toren took her to Platform Brewery — the place where they had their first date and celebrated their first anniversary — where their family and closest friends were waiting to celebrate. It was the perfect beginning to their next chapter.
Why They Chose the Tudor House at Mason’s Cove
When it came time to choose a venue, Morgan and Toren knew they wanted an outdoor summer wedding with a tented reception. The Tudor House at Mason's Cove wedding venue immediately stood out because it offered everything they were searching for.
Located on the water at Portage Lakes, the property combines scenic views, lush green space, and a beautiful tented reception area — all in one location. Having the ceremony, reception, and getting-ready spaces onsite allowed them to fully enjoy their day without worrying about travel or lost time in their timeline.
The waterfront setting also held personal meaning. Morgan’s family spends a lot of time on the water together on their pontoon boat, so being able to incorporate a boat into the wedding day made the celebration even more special for them and their families.
A Timeless Garden-Inspired Design
Morgan had always envisioned a garden-inspired wedding filled with greenery and soft summer florals. To complement the natural beauty of the venue, the couple chose a neutral color palette that felt timeless and elegant.
The design focused on elevated simplicity — beautiful décor that felt intentional but never overly formal. The tented reception space looked stunning against the lakeside backdrop, while thoughtful details helped create a relaxed and welcoming environment for guests.
Morgan took hold of her timeliness, garden-inspired vision and DIY’d so many of the important and beautiful details. She individually created every guest's menu, every table number and all of the important signage.
One of the biggest projects that Morgan tackled was the seating chart display. With a theme of “Our Best Buds”, the seating chart featured flower boxes, adorned with beautiful florals from Nikki’s Perfect Petals, and each guest name individually listed on acrylic signage. Morgan admits this was a huge undertaking but was able to enlist the help of many friends to accomplish. It was truly stunning and served as a statement piece for the entire reception!
Meaningful Moments & Details Throughout the Day
One of the things that made this Tudor House at Mason's Cove wedding so special was the number of meaningful moments and details woven throughout the day.
Morgan spent the morning getting ready in the on site bridal suites with her bridesmaids. She chose to get dressed in the historic homes breakfast nook. Featuring vintage floral wallpaper and lots of natural light, it was the perfect space to put on her wedding gown with the help of her mother. Morgan also got to experience a heartfelt first reveal with her dad that the photographer Kailey so beautifully captured.
Toren and his groomsmen enjoyed spending time in the groom’s speakeasy - a dedicated space for the groom and his guys featuring custom lockers, bar, and antique barber chair.
Before the ceremony, Morgan and Toren shared a private “first touch,” exchanging personal vows while holding hands around a corner. It was a quiet, emotional moment that helped calm their nerves before walking down the aisle.
Once the “first touch,” was complete, Toren and his groomsmen got to go on the pontoon boat for a quick trip to the renowned lakeside establishment Dano’s. After a quick drink together, Toren and his groomsmen entered the ceremony directly from the pontoon. It was such a unique and special moment and started the ceremony in the perfect way.
The ceremony processional was played by a string trio from City Six Strings, setting the scent for a romantic and loving ceremony to come. During the ceremony, Morgan & Toren incorporated a beautiful ring warming tradition where immediate family members passed the rings and prayed over them before they were exchanged.
Following “I do,” Morgan and Toren took a few moments alone together to soak in the experience before rejoining their guests. This was a special moment for the couple and truly gave them a personal and intimate touch to a huge moment.
Additional personal details that made the wedding unique included customized cocktail napkins adorned with the couples cats, an audio guest book where guests could leave the couple a message, and a special cigar bar that also honored the bride’s grandfather.
At the reception, the couple honored loved ones who were no longer with them by having their photo at a place setting. It was a simple and intentional gesture, but deeply meaningful— a subtle way to acknowledge how loved and missed they were while still feeling their presence as part of the celebration.
Later in the evening, the couple enjoyed a private cake cutting and champagne toast. Another special moment they were able to enjoy together as apart of their celeberation!
A Celebration Their Guests Will Never Forget
It was important for Morgan and Toren to have their wedding be just as memorable for their guests as it was for them — and they succeeded.
Between the incredible food from LaLa in the Lakes, delicious drinks from the Thirsty Goose, a mouth watering dessert table from Sugar Shananigans, the lively reception with music from Beach Boyz Entertainment, the pontoon boat rides, and the relaxed lakeside atmosphere, guests had a truly unforgettable experience.
The night ended with a private last dance followed by a quiet boat ride across the lake before heading to their after-party.
Bringing the Vision to Life
As their wedding coordinator, my role was to ensure all of Morgan and Toren’s thoughtful details came together seamlessly. From managing vendors and overseeing décor installation to guiding the timeline and guest flow, I worked behind the scenes so they could fully enjoy every moment.
Watching their vision come to life — from the ceremony overlooking the water to the joyful celebration under the reception tent — was truly an honor.
Thank you to the other vendors for all their hard work and collaboration to make this stunning day a reality!

A Charming Gish Barn Wedding: Hannah & Bradon’s Relaxed and Joyful Summer Celebration
Hannah & Bradon’s charming Gish Barn wedding in Rittman, Ohio was filled with heartfelt details, laughter, and relaxed summer beauty. Planned by MTM Weddings & Events, their day featured lush florals, fun food trucks, and personal touches that made this rustic celebration unforgettable.
There’s something truly special about a Gish Barn wedding — the open fields, timber beams, and glow of string lights set the stage for a celebration that feels both timeless and heartfelt. Hannah and Bradon’s June wedding in Rittman, Ohio, captured everything that makes a summer wedding so memorable: joy, laughter, and intentional moments shared with the people they love most.
From High School Sweethearts to “I Do”
Hannah and Bradon’s story began as high school sweethearts and continued through their college years at the University of Cincinnati, where they both earned engineering degrees. Now successful engineers with two adorable beagles and a shared love for travel and Disney, they chose to celebrate the next chapter of their lives with a wedding that reflected their easygoing spirit and meaningful connection.
The moment Hannah and Bradon saw each other for the first time on their wedding day — pure joy!
Planning a Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Celebration
When they first described their vision, words like charming, organic, and relaxed came up often. They wanted the day to feel warm and welcoming — a reflection of their personalities and their love of the outdoors. The Gish Barn provided just that, offering a perfect blend of rustic warmth and indoor-outdoor flow.
Hannah and Bradon loved that they could host both the ceremony and reception in one place, while bringing in their own vendors to create a unique, personalized experience for guests. I helped them design a carefully balanced timeline — one that blended classic traditions like toasts and first dances with fun, unexpected food experiences from local favorites like Barrio Food Truck, The Faithful Little Cupcake, and Pav’s Ice Cream Truck.
The result? A celebration that was perfectly structured to flow with ease, yet relaxed enough to feel effortless.
A charming ceremony surrounded by summer greenery at The Gish Barn in Rittman, Ohio.
Summer Style and Sentimental Touches
The color palette of soft greens and blues set a calming, organic tone throughout the day. The bridesmaids wore dresses in multi-shades of green, the groomsmen donned smart blue suits, and the natural textures of the barn provided the perfect backdrop.
Before the ceremony, Hannah shared heartfelt gifts with her mom, dad, and grandmother — one of the morning’s most emotional moments. Bradon, in turn, received a meaningful gift from his new father-in-law, a touching symbol of the bonds joining their two families together.
A quiet moment between the bride and her mom before the celebration began — the calm before the beautiful whirlwind.
Unique Details That Told Their Story
Every part of this Gish Barn wedding felt personal and purposeful. For their guest book, guests wrote well wishes on vintage-style postcards representing places the couple had traveled or hoped to visit, then slipped them into a mailbox — a charming nod to Hannah and Bradon’s shared love of adventure.
And in true fun-loving fashion, they put a twist on tradition by replacing the bouquet and garter toss with a custom t-shirt toss featuring playful images from their wedding day! It was a huge hit — the perfect lighthearted touch to cap off their festive evening.
One of my favorite parts of Hannah and Bradon’s Gish Barn wedding was the interactive fun they planned for their guests. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed playing yard games like cornhole and giant Connect 4, filling the barn lawn with laughter and friendly competition. They also added a creative twist with a “Sip & Solve” station — a large crossword puzzle featuring personal details about the couple’s life and love story, giving everyone a chance to learn something new about the bride and groom while enjoying a drink in hand. And as the perfect keepsake, a talented caricature artist from Capture This! Entertainment spent the night sketching cheerful portraits that guests could take home — a playful, memorable touch that fit the day’s relaxed and joyful spirit perfectly.

A Joyful Celebration Under the Lights
As the summer sun faded, string lights filled the barn with a warm glow. Guests sipped drinks from The Thirsty Filly, danced to music by DJ Josh Johnson of Smooth Beats Entertainment, and enjoyed the most delicious desserts from Faithful Little Cupcake.
The atmosphere was full of laughter and contentment — exactly what Hannah and Bradon had hoped for when they first began planning their relaxed, joy-filled day.
Bridesmaids in multi-shades of green and blue looked effortlessly chic against the barn’s rustic backdrop.
